What is stress?

We can all become stressed at one time or another, but how do you know, if the stress you are experiencing is beginning to negatively affect your health? BBC Health has published a useful overview of some of the main triggers and symptoms of stress, along with a few simple practical suggestions on how to improve your environment. This overview can serve as an easy first step for you to inform yourself a little more about stress and what you might want to do about it. Remember though, that some of the suggestions made sound very simple and that reality can of course be completely different and that you may find it more difficult to follow the steps presented in this feature. If you do find this to be the case, then it is probably the right time to think about talking to somebody about how you can decrease your stress levels.
